School System is blowing away these charts.
They will cause the financial collapse of the town within
5 years if drastic action is not taken.
The 2010 Fiscal School Budget is now at 2014 Levels!
CHARLTON - The proposed fiscal 2009 school budget for the Dudley-Charlton
Regional School District is $46.1 million, a 7.3 percent or $3.1 million
increase over the current budget.
The budget includes projected increases of $1.1 million for employee
contracts, $608,000 for technology upgrades, $500,000 for a new busing
contract, $254,000 for health insurance, $95,000 for utilities and $36,000
for the possible lease for a district administrative office.
These
Charts represent estimated School Spending, State Aid and Local
Contributions required if we continue at the current trend.
School Budgets Higher than an average of 5.9%
Annual growth or State Aid increases of less than 4.8% annualIy will only
make this worse.. much much worse.
